Laugh ! That is good for health

http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/7405/1270130768kochiindiaasi.png

One smart Software engineer and his Project Manager were traveling towards Pune in a train.
Just Opposite to their seat, a beautiful girl was sitting along with her grand ma.
With in some time, Eye-Eye interactions started between Our Software engineer & that girl.

After some minutes, train started moving in to a tunnel and it was very dark.
Suddenly, every body heard a Kiss sound followed by a sound of slapping.
Every body remained silent, when the train came out of the tunnel.

Grand ma thought that," The Guy is a rogue; how dare he is? He has kissed my grand daughter!"

PM thought that," I can't believe that this guy has kissed that girl! But it is unfair that she slapped me by mistake"

That girl thought that," I feel happy, when that guy kissed me, but I feel sorry that my grand ma has slapped him".

Finally, the Software engineer thought?

"This one minute in my life is wonderful, it hardly comes...because, at a time I have kissed a girl and also I have slapped my PM."

Do you know ?

http://img189.imageshack.us/img189/6006/70617253.jpg

You all know KBC is Good Business.
But have you ever pondered...
How Good....????

Any guesses? Let's see...

Airtel is charging Rs.6/- per SMS sent for this contest.

Assuming there are only 100 entries from say 10 cities of some 20 districts and 20 states...

6(Rs/SMS) x 100(entries) x 10(cities) x 20(districts) x 20(states) = 6
x 100 x 10 x 20 x 20 = Rs.24,00,000

24 lakhs in 20 minutes.
(People trying for the 2 lakhs cash prize)

Imagine what if 1000 entries try out from 100 cities?

The figure simply grows by 2 more zeroes and yields a whopping 24 Crores!!!!

And it does not stop there...

In practice it could be another multiple of 100 or a multiple of 1000 on an average.

In that case it is 24 x 100crores earnings in just 20 minutes on every episode!!!

And the prize money: A mere 2 crore..
(and from whose pocket?)

Smart Business By Siddharth Basu!

And the best part of this calculation is just the SMS earning!!

What about the Ad money?

A rough annual profit calculation goes like this:

2400 x 5 x 4) (episode/month) x 12 = 5,76,000 crores.

Let even 50% get dissolved in taxes and other payments, still you will be left with (which includes even the meagre 480 crores of prize money i.e.if every episode bags 2 crore prize)!

2,88,000-crores profit !!! (only from SMS)

Simple Question:
"KAUN BANEGA CROREPATI"
and your options are---

A) SONY TV
B) AIRTEL
C) AMITABH BACHAN
D) SIDDHARTH BASU
Computerji iska jawab bataiye....

Ans: All FOUR..!!!!

PS:
Now you know why AB gets all emotional when the episodes end...........

My diary 11.1.11

http://img706.imageshack.us/img706/7020/ad6e2adc9.jpg

In spite of in transit for 26 hours, also sitting for 20 hours in cramped chair, and 72 hours of improper sleep, this date fascinated me to write.

Because, I liked Trichur Ramachandran's concert very much, I wanted all of you to enjoy. That is why I added the pep of "my birthday gift". But, I never thought there will be so many friends, who like to wish for many happy returns of the day. I am overwhelmed and Your greetings did not go to my head, but to my shoulders, because I should be always responsible enough to deserve your love and affection. My heartfelt thanks to all those who wished me through blog, through mail and also through face book.

Apart from a new year resolution, that I will not see Ms. Burka dutt's progrmmes, and thereby if necessary NDTV also, I also resolved to post the concerts of new and upcoming artists, who have no Godfathers, in this blog. They may not be of very high standard according to some hard core rasikas, but it is also our responsibility to encourage such youngsters, in the interest of our music. I request the readers to send me such youngsters concerts, and I will certainly upload them. The young artists themselves can send me, if they are interested in having an "Internet platform" for them other than Temple, marriage, and Sabhas.

One simple request, to such artists ! Please do not demand any thing from such sponsors ( if they are prepared to give !), not even your conveyance, but certainly a good audio equipment ( I mean a mike set), which can help to record your concert perfectly. A transcend voice recorder which will cost less than Rs. 2000/- can be your capital for the prosperity, and you please record your concert, by keeping the same on the stage. That may record well, without much disturbance from audience , because, it is on the stage and also with a provision to record in noisy environment.

Another small request will be if you can edit, tag and send it through mediafire, It will make my job bit easy. Please pardon this old man for his selfish interest to avoid hard labour. You can edit and tag them through many software available in the internet. Readers can also suggest such software for the benefit of these youngsters.

It is 11.00 P.M. My body and my eyes are not cooperating with me to continue on this subject. Hope my friends, who are regular readers of this blog, will co operate with me and please give me your valuable suggestions

I expect the readers to hear those concerts, and give their opinions, suggestions, to enable such young
artists to learn further and expertise themselves to keep our carnatic music flag fly high for years to come.

With all possible distractions and huge a pressure from the education front, the children who genuinely show interest in classical music and make it to the concert level are surely to be encouraged. I am in complete ageement with views on NDTV and The Hindu too.

Man !

http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/7646/dalailamah.jpg

“What thing about humanity surprises you the most?”

His answer was as follows:

“Man”

Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money.

Then he sacrifices his money to recuperate his health

And then he is so anxious about the future that he doesn’t enjoy the present,

And as a result he doesn’t live in the present or the future

And he lives as if he’s never going to die, and then he dies having never really lived.

Most of us have the knowledge that we are not this body and we are the spirit souls. However, having immersed in worldly affairs, we forget this. Once we forget this, what Dalai Lama has told will only happen. In ISKCON, one point is always insisted. To remember this fact always, it is preached that daily Naama Japam, daily Satsangam, vegetarian food (even avoiding garlic and onion), (mental and physical) truthfulness to spouse, refraining from intoxication and avoidance of totally materialistic-orineted people are a must. This will make us remember always that we are not this body and we are the spirit souls. Once this thought is deeply imbibed in our mind, we will not only have the knowledge, but also realization of this fact. Realization of this fact will make us to exclude ourselves from the definition of Dalai Lama. - Devarajan MK
