Airtel Super singer Junior 2

When I used to see some of the Malayalam realty shows of singing competitions, I always felt how much Tamilnadu is lagging behind Kerala. The way of presentation of the show, the talents of singers etc used to make me long for such shows in Tamil TVs. Unluckily, all the shows in Tamil were very disappointing. Particularly the programmes in Jaya TV with SPB and now " Hari udan Naan" is a horrible show. The singers who come and sing before Hariharan are of very very bad standard. There is no Sruthi, no Layam, no proper diction. As vasanth said in one of the programmes, "They have not even bothered to prepare themselves to come and sing before Hariharan". So lethargic and irresponsible to come and sing without even basic preparations.

They should see "Airtel Super singer Junior 2 "  and should hang their head down with shame. These kids, for their age, are doing excellent job. Hats off to Vijay TV for making the show enjoyable. And special mention and thanks to Mr. Ananth Vaidyanathan for preparing the kids so nicely. You should appreciate the guts of this boy taking T.R. Mahalingam's song to sing. Those who have missed or not having facilities to view this show may click this link and enjoy.http://www.techsatish.net/2010/06/bvnnm.html

I fully endorse your views. Especially the last few weeks' shows have been of exemplary standard with astounding performances by these young kids. Their grip on Talam, shruthi and presentation are amzing. Hats of to Vijay TV.

I wonder what musical knowledge you have, Krish! Anybody would agree that Shravan is the best among them all. Not only does he have a full carnatic training, he has adapted himself to all genres! I do agree with you that Priyanka, Srinisha and Sahana definitely need a chance but in these competitions, it is clearly 'Survival of the Fittest'!

Last year there was in Zee Marathi a music show called "Lil Champs". The way the children presented their talent was amasing. Some thing similar or even better than similar malayalam show. In this show very senior musical personalities acted as judges . It was a sight to see the children being guided with out hurting their feelings as we see some curt behaviour in Hindi shows. If you would upload I can send a cd in which there is the recording of these children singing in the presence of Baghvan Sathy Sai Baba in 2009 Nov.
