This evergreen Telugu piece from the 1961 film Sita Rama Kalyanam was originally orchestrated by Gali Penchala Narasimha Rao, written by Samudrala Raghavacharya, and sung by P. Susheela. It has been a mainstay of Telugu marriage ceremonies and festivals for over half a century and celebrates the majestic union of Rama and Sita, taking the audience through each aspect of their iconic wedding ceremony.
