கோவில் அதிசயங்கள்..!
அந்த காலத்தில் கோவில் கட்டும் போது ஒவ்வொரு கோவிலிலும் ஏதாவது ஒன்றை தனித்தன்மையுடன் அமைத்தனர்.
During the construction of the temple in those days, they set up something unique in each temple.
ஆனால் ஒவ்வொரு கோவிலிலும் ஏதாவது ஒரு தனிச்சிறப்பு உண்டு!
But every temple has something unique!
அவைகளில் சில:Some of them are:
1. உற்சவர் அல்லாமல் மூலவர் வீதியில் வலம் வருவது சிதம்பரம். - நடராஜ கோயில்
1. It is in Chidambaram Nataraja temple. It is Moolavar instead of Utsavar.who goes around on the path.
2. கும்பகோணம் அருகே “தாராசுரம்” என்ற ஊரில் உள்ள ஐராவதீஸ்வரர் கோவிலில்உள்ள சிற்பத்தில் வாலியும் சுக்ரீவனும் சண்டை இடும் காட்சி உள்ளது. இங்கிருந்து ராமர் சிற்பம் இருக்கும் தூண் தெரியாது. ஆனால் ராமன் அம்பு தொடுக்கும் சிற்பத்தில் இருந்து பார்த்தால் வாலி சுக்ரீவன் போர் புரியும் சிற்பம் தெரியும்
.2. A sculpture in the Airavatheeswarar temple in a town called “Tharasuram” near Kumbakonam shows Vali and Sugriva fighting. From here the pillar where the sculpture of Ram is located is not visible. But if you look at the sculpture of Raman shooting an arrow, you can see the sculpture of Vali Sugrivan fighting.
3. தர்மபுரி மல்லிகார்ஜுன கோவிலில் உள்ள நவாங்க மண்டபத்தில் இரு தூண்களின் அடி பூமியில் படியாது
.3. The base of the two pillars in the Nawanga Mandapam in the Dharmapuri Mallikarjuna Temple do not touch the ground.

5. The place where Karudazhwar is seen carrying a conch and wheel in two of his four arms is Velliangudi near Kumbakonam. He appears like this only here in 108 Divyadesa.
6. நாச்சியார் கோவில் கல்கருடன் சன்னதியில் 4 பேர் தூக்குவார்கள் பின்பு 8,16, கோவில் வாசலில் 64 பேர் தூக்கி வருவார்கள் கருடனும் முகத்தில் வேர்வை துளிர்க்கும்.

.8. Vilva tree in Nitya Kalyani Udanurai Vishwanath Temple near Tirunelveli-Kadayam bears fruit in the form of linga.
9 கும்பகோணம் அருகே திருநல்லூரில் உள்ள சிவலிங்கத் திருமேனி ஒரு நாளைக்கு 5 முறை வெவ்வேறு வண்ணங்களில் நிறம் மாறுவதால் “பஞ்சவர்ணேஸ்வரர்” என்று பெயர்
.9 Shivalinga Thirumeni at Tirunallur near Kumbakonam is called “Panjavarneswarar” because it changes color 5 times a day.
10. விருதுநகர், சொக்கநாதன்புத்தூரில் உள்ள தவநந்திகேஸ்வரர் ஆலயத்தில் உள்ள நந்திக்கு கொம்போ, காதுகளே இல்லை.

11. ஆந்திராவில் சாமல் கோட்டை அருகே உள்ள 3 பிரதான சாலைகளில் சந்திப்பில் உள்ள 72 அடி ஆஞ்சநேயர்சிலையின் கண்களும்-சில நூறுமைகளுக்கு அப்பால் உள்ள பத்ராசல ஆலயத்தில் ஸ்ரீராமன் திருவடிகளும் ஒரே மட்டத்தில் உள்ளன.
11. The eyes of the 72-foot Anjaneyar statue at the junction of 3 main roads near Samal Fort in Andhra—are at the same level as the Sri Rama Thiruvadis at the Bhadrasala temple a few hundred meters away.
12. வேலூர் அருகே உள்ள விருஞ்சிபுரம் என்ற தலத்தில் உள்ள கோயில் தூணின் தென்புறம் அர்த்த சந்திரவடிவில் 1 முதல் 6 வரையும், 6முதல் 12 வரையும் எண்கள் செதுக்கியுள்ளன. மேற்புறம் உள்ள பள்ளத்தில் வழியே ஒரு குச்சியை நீட்டினால், குச்சியுன் நிழல் எந்த எண்ணில் விழுகிறதோ அதுதான் அப்போது மணி ஆகும்.

My diary
When one of my close relative passed away recently,, I thought myself, living long, is not BLESSING, BUT PUNISHMENT. TODAY I felt, living was worth to see Arvind ( Founder & CTO, Rubrik. Inc. USA ) getting distinguished alumni AWARD from IIT Madras. Out of more than 4,50.000 IIT students all over the world. one of the few achievers, and being the YOUNGEST one so far, gives a feeling that me and Prema are blessed to have a son who lives, with a least bothered attitude of these achievements. "NOTHING GOES TO HIS HEAD" THIS WAS HIS PRINCIPAL at SISHYA, told when he was school top in 12th.
