When shall we have such persons?

In this materialistic world

here is a great example of

true humility………. actually practiced not just preached……..
---

The Life of Iranian President Ahmedinejad

The FoxNewsTV (USA)

asked the Iranian President Ahmedinejad,

'When you look into the mirror in the morning

what do you say to yourself'?

He answered: I see the person in the mirror and tell him 'Remember' you are no

more than a small servant, ahead of you today is the heavy responsibility,

and that is to serve the Iranian nation'.

Ahmedinejad, the Iranian President who astonished many when he first reached

to the office of the Presidency by donating all the high valued Iranian carpets

to one of the mosques in Tehran by replacing them with the low cost ordinary

carpets. He observed that there was a huge extravagant lounge for receiving

and welcoming the VIPs and

he ordered it to be closed and asked the protocol office to arrange for an

ordinary room only with wooden chairs.

On many instances he joins the cleaning staff of the municipality for cleaning

the streets in the area where his home and the Presidency are located.

Under his authority whenever he appoints any minister to his post he gets a

signed document from him with many points particularly highlighting that

he shall remain poor and that his personal and his relatives accounts will

be watched and the day he leaves the ministry shall be with dignity, and

therefore it is not lawful for him or his relatives to take any advantage of

his office. First of all he declared himself for all the

'Big' wealth and the property he owned was a Peugeot 504 car, model 1977,

an old small house inherited from his father 40-years ago in one of the

poorest zones in Tehran . His accounts with a zero balance and the only

money comes in to his a/c was from his salary from the university as a

lecturer with an amount of US$ 250 only.

For your information the President still lives in that same house. This is all

what he owns; the president of one of the world's important countries;

strategically, economically, politically and with regard to its oil and defense.

He even doesn't take his personal salary with the argument that all the

wealth belongs to the nation and he is the safeguard over it.

One of the things that impressed the staff at the presidency is the bag the

President brings with him every day, which contains his breakfast; some

sandwiches or bread with olive oil and cheese prepared by his wife and eats

and enjoys it with all happiness.

One of the other things he changed was his personal carrier 'the President's

Aircraft' to a cargo aircraft in order to save the spending from the public

treasury and he ordered that he will be flying with the ordinary airline in the

economy class.. He organizes meetings every now and then with all the

ministers to know their activities and efficiency and he closed down the

office of the Manager of the president and any minister can enter to his

office without any permission. He also stopped the welcome ceremonies

like the red carpet, the photo session or any personal advertisement or

respect of any kind while visiting any place in the country.

Whenever he has to stay in any of the hotels he asks them to make sure

not to give him a room with any big bed because he doesn't like to sleep

on beds but rather likes to sleep on the floor on a simple mattress with

a blanket.

Refer to some of the photographs which also confirm the above. The

Iranian president is sleeping in the guest room of his house after

getting away from his special guards who follow him wherever he goes

and photo is taken by his small brother according to the Wifaq

Newspaper which published this photo and the next day the photo

was published in most of the world's newspapers and magazines and

particularly the Americans. During the prayer you can see that he is

not sitting in the first row. And the final photo is of his dining room

where the president is busy eating his simple meal.

Try comparing this

with the emoluments

and privileges our ministers get .... plus

the amount they loot

How many of our Presidents, PMs, Ministers &

politicians enjoy(?)

such a life!!!

The views of Patriotic Australian Prime Minister

India Needs A Leader Like This !

Prime Minister John Howard - Australia

Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were
told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the
government targeted radicals
in a bid to head off potential terror attacks.

Separately, Howard angered some Australian Muslims
on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies
monitoring the nation's mosques.
Quote: 'IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT. Take
It Or Leave It. I am tired of this nation worrying
about whether we are offending some
individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks
on Bali , wehave experienced a surge in patriotism by
the majority of Australians.'

'This culture has been developed over two centuries of
struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and
women who have sought
freedom'

'We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic,
Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language.
Therefore, if you wish to
become part of our society . Learn the language!'

'Most Australians believe in God. This is not some
Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact,
because Christian men and women, on
Christian principles, founded this nation, and this
is clearly documented. It is certainly appropriate to
display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends
you, then I suggest you consider another
part of the world as your new home, because God is
part of our culture.'

'We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why.
All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony
and peaceful enjoyment with us.'

'This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE,
and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this.
But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping
about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or
Our Way of Life, I highly encourage
you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom,
'THE RIGHT TO LEAVE'.'

'If you aren't happy here then LEAVE. We didn't force you
to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country
YOU accepted.'

Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves, Indian
citizens will find the backbone to start speaking and
voicing the same truths.

Let us also appreciate this

The new Home Minister of India,
Mr.P.Chidambaram
does not fly in the private plane,
but goes in
commercial flights, unlike his
predecessor Mr. Shivraj Patil, who
was always flying in the private
plane. He also does not
take any officers along with him,
whereas his predecessor was taking
quite a good number of
Babus with him.

Hemant Karkare, a hero (?)

There is a convention that we should not say anything bad about those who passed away. But, I like to break that convention, because the next generation should not be misguided and the history should not be wrong. May be, "Mr. Karkare was an efficient officer, and always in the frontline". This is waht all the media, either electronic or Print are telling.

But see his actions.

1. He gets the news that some terrorists have entered Bombay and firing at CST Railway station. ( He has no clue, what is this attack, how many people have come, what is their motive etc. Mind you he is chief of ATS meaning Anti Terror Squad.).

2. After visiting CST, he goes in the car in search of the terrorists. He never bothered to split another two efficient officers, but takes them also along with him with other police personnel, in a single vehicle.

3. None of them are having any fool proof bullet proof vests ( some other sources are blamed for this inefficiency. Who would have prevented Mr. Karkare to have a more efficient bullet proof vests?)

4. Knowing pretty well that the terrorists are using AK 47 indiscriminately, they never bothered to find out where they are, what is their mode of operation etc. but having a jolly ride in a car, ( once again this car does not have bullet proof cover) and pathetically shot by the terrorists.

5. He had one Mr. Ansari who was arrested in Lucknow, and send him back to Lucknow prison, and it is being quoted by many leading dailies that this Mr. Ansari is the person who prepared the map for these terrorists.

6. Even the previous day of the Bombay attacks, He was busy on Malegaon blasts. ( Was he the chief of ATS only to enquire the terrorist activities happened, but not the officer to check the future terrorist activities)

7. After all he was also an officer, who was dictated by bosses like Sonia Gandhi, what to do, and he was obliging, ignoring his duties.

The pity is that the death alone saved him and made him a hero. Had he been alive, imagine what the media and public would have told and talked about him !

Concert - Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna

This rare concert was held on 12.1.08. You are aware Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna does not give concerts now a days and so this was a rare opportunity to Chennai rasikas. He was accompanied by Mysore Nagaraj, Lakshminarayana Raju and Vaikom Gopalakrishnan. This has been edited for convenience of download and the disturbances are removed as much as possible. However, you may come across, certain talks in between which will force you to join my campaign of discipline while attending concerts.

Concert - Vijay Siva - 11th Oct 2008

This is a concert held on 11th November 2008 at Music Academy by ICICI Bank. This was a very nice concert and it consists mostly on "Dhevi" and Muthuswamy Dheekshiter krithis. He is accompanied by Sri. R. K Sreeramkumar in violin, Sri. Manoj Siva in Mrudhangam and Sri. Suresh in Ghatam. I could not see either Sreeramkumar or his violin as he was sitting facing VijaySiva and I advise you not to sit in the right side of auditorium if you want to see How Sreeramkumar is playing violin. This is my observation not from one concert. This audio clip was given to me by a friend of mine who wants to be anonymous.

Terrorist attack at Bombay

How can you expect a party to protect your country, when they have a "foreigner" as President? Is that not clear, whoever in that party, does not have a national feeling, by this very act? - my first feeling.
******
"Please forward Raj Thackery's phone number, if you have it. Don't know where he is, when we need him. We want him to go and save amchi mumbai along with his MNS goondas" - sms from unknown
*******
" Where is Raj Thackery and his men, when North Indians and South Indians are fighting to save Mumbai" - sms from unknown
*******
" People at Delhi should not go to vote tomorrow, until Shivraj Patil rsigns." - Sanjana to Times Now
*******
"Rowdhram Pazhagu" ( Learn to get angry). This was told by the great poet Bharathi, to get annoyed when something is wrong. Is this not right time, our younger citizen apply this at our politicians?

V. P. Singh died, I am happy he died on this day

V.P Singh passed away. Thank God, he passed away on 26th November 2008, when the entire media was busy covering the terrorists attack on Bombay Five star Hotels. Other wise, all the media, either T.V or Newspaper, would have talked and published through out the day about him, not only about him, but about the castes in India and Mandal commission and induced more caste feelings among youngsters and common people. I am happy, not because he died, but because he died on this day, so that we were spared of repeated comments of caste system, thereby we were not reminded the caste feelings to those who have forgotten it.
