Are you smarter than four years old ?
| A PRE-SCHOOL TEST FOR YOU Which way is the bus below travelling ? To the left or to the right? Can't make up your mind? Look carefully at the picture again. scroll down…………… Still don't know? Primary school children were shown this picture and asked the same question. 90% of them gave this answer: "The bus is travelling to the right." When asked, "Why do you think the bus is travelling to the right?" They answered: "Because you can't see the door to get on the bus." How do you feel now??? I know, me too. |

.....that he who eats till he is sick must fast till he is well.
That is a Hebrew proverb, and it has to do with a lot
more than food. Look to see what behaviors you are
indulging in over and over again that are clearly not
serving you. Then, go on a "bad habit diet."
I mean it. I'm not kidding, Pick one bad habit, one
bad behavior, a day for five days. You can do this.
Stop doing the stuff you're doing that obviously
does not serve you--or others.
This friendly "nudge" came from your Self, you know...

Good collection. Have downloaded all that is of consequence therein.
Some of the older ones appear to be missing something up there.
You can keep listening to these over and over and over again by one self, without caring about anything or anybody in the world.
Just a thought.
A glaring omission that will hopefully be remedied.
Kindly upload O.S. Thyagarajan concerts if you have any (the less idle chatter involved the better).
As Semmangudi once said in a concert after observing people leaving during the thani, "We have learnt so many things from the white people - proper concert decorum can also be learned." (as narrated to my mother by TRS).

stockholm-based visiondivision conducted a week-long workshop at the politecnico di milano,
in milan, italy, in which guest professors conducted an exploration for students to consider
the impact of the fast-paced lifestyle on ecology and environmental issues in architecture.
the result was 'the patient gardener', a structure consisting of ten japanese cherry trees which is
the main building material for the construction of a two-story retreat. bending, twisting,
pruning and grafting will be used to control and develop the growth of the building over time.
the trees, chosen because of the time of year and good suitability for the project,
were planted around in an 8 meter diameter ring.

to assist in the bending of the trees, a temporary tower stands in the center with ropes attached to the plants,
pulling them gently to create a bend in the trunk as it grows. the stairs, handrails and safety features
will be grafted from fruit trees, generating food simultaneously.

a simple maintenance plan and instructs will be passed on to future gardeners. the final result can be
