Sir, I understand the difficulty in restoring the media fire links which were god sent link to us. I do not know why media fire is not allowing such things, to be downloaded. Whenever I clicked on, it says that is forbidden link or disabled link. I downloaded quite old tamil songs and carnatic songs from you. I accidentally came across this website and it is full of songs to cherish. Keep good health. May lord lakshmi narasimha bless you

yasya abhavath bhaktha janartha hanthu ; pithruthva manyeshwa visharya dhoornam ; sthambe avathara sthama thavya lapyam; sri lakshmi nrushimham saranam prabathye; Thank you, Sir

I am back !

Yes. I am back. From lot of frustration, (because of mediafire), many hesitations due to the doubts that whether I will have patience and energy to restore the lost files, and anxiety to assess the time it will take to restore four years efforts etc. etc, I was desperate.

But the love and affection showed by you all, the encouragement given by many followers of this blog, praying for my energy and health by many readers were reminding me that I should do it.

So, I am venturing again. I do not know whether I will be able to continue and succeed. But I will try my level best to satisfy you all. I have more commitment towards my family now, since I am going to become a grandfather by January end or February first week. I will love and like to spend as much time of my limited life with my grandson. Yet I will try to fulfill my commitments to thousands of readers of this blog.

It may take more time for me to do with the new server, with which I should get acquainted with as much with mediafire. The procedures are bit complicated to me to begin with. Age prevents me to grasp things fast and execute. You should pardon me if I am not up to your expectations in speed with the postings as well as replies to your queries.

While restoring the old files in the new format, I will also try to post new ones. Your comments and suggestions will be the "boost of my energy." Please tell/write/convey to your relatives and friends, who might have stopped coming to this blog with disappointment. It was surprising that even when I was inactive there were new followers to this blog. That does not go to my head but to shoulders.

I have posted new one of Ariyakkudi and restored the Concert No 18 of Smt Anuradha Krishnamourthy which was in my popular posts since I posted it.

I will try to avoid controversial postings and copyright violations ( even though I have my own reservations on these claims except commercial cds). Readers who send  the contributions may also have this point into consideration.

We will meet again tomorrow.

Glad you are back.
Lot of people will be relieved & happy.
I have one suggestion: The archives can be rebuilt by the followers and members , by sending non-copyright material. This can include private concerts and out-of copyright songs.
Anything registered with the Indian Performing Arts society (maybe the name is wrong- the body that holds all copyrights) is taboo. This includes most CDs and tapes.

My diary - 21st August 2012

There are lot of anxious enquiries, about no posting in the blog since a month, about my health, my welfare, simultaneously complaining the files are not available for download.

You are aware, that I uploaded more than 13000 files through "mediafire" by paying premium to them every month. Unluckily, there was a misunderstanding, and my account is suspended pending certain clarifications. It is prolonging and most probably not in my favour.

Hence, I was very upset, and mentally depressed. It took some time for me to come out of it and think of alternatives. Now I am working on such alternatives, and the priority is to restore the lost files than posting new ones.

Even though I was posting many interesting matters collected from various sources and from readers of this blog, music files are the main stay of this blog. Many readers are missing them.

Please bear with me and give me ten more days. I hope, I will be able to muster more energy and time to continue my job. I hope Your support will boost my energy, as it was all these four years.

Yes very true both myself and my second daughter have been checking your blog almost twice a day, and was under the impression you might have gone to US or elsewhere. Yes almost all treasure have gone from this Blog which is most unfortunate. All pains you have taken to upload have become a naught. I pray God all these are restored. Regards bhaskaran

I don't know how to say, what to say.  I also know the pain, how if one loses the data in one blog.

I also got the same in problem in my previous blogs.   I know how much effort you made in this blog, creating such a nice contribution to Public.

Please don't worry sir,  You will be coming out this problem very soon.

I heartily say and will pray god that you and  your family get lot of happiness always.
Priya Ashok

Our prayers are with you for getting the problem resolved at the earliest.
May I suggest that you pray to Lord Ganesha at Agasthiar Temple (Pondy Bazaar) for breaking cocoanuts (chathur thengai).  100% the problem will be resolved to your satisfaction.  We have been following this practice since 1971 and have never been let down.  Even the most impossible events have happened n our favour - a casual "venduthal" knowing that it is hypothetical has been rewarded.  So still we are continuing this "prarthanai".  But since we are not there in Chennai now, we are getting the venduthal completed by our friend there.
With Best Wishes.
Hemalatha and family.

That's how it is!

A young man called Rama Swami died an untimely death.

They all happened to be disciples of a holy man whom they called 'Maharaj Ji'. His parents, wife and nine year old son were crying bitterly sitting next to his dead body. When Maharaj Ji learnt that Rama Swami had died, he came vo visit the family.
He entered the house and found the family wailing unconsolably. Seeing Maharaj Ji, the wife started crying even louder. She sobbed saying, "Maharaj Ji, he has died too early, he was so young... I'm so helpless and miserable."
Oh! I would do anything to make him alive again. What will happen to our son?

Maharaj Ji tried to pacify the crying lady and the old parents,
But the loss was too much for them to come to terms with so easily.
Eventually, Maharaj Ji said, "Alright, get me a glass of water."
Maharaj Ji sat near the dead body and put the glass next to it.
Rama Swami shall come back to life, but the person who drinks the water shall die

There was pin drop silence..!

He said, "Now, who ever wants that Rama Swami should become alive again, may drink this water. "Come, did you not say that Rama Swami was the sole bread winner of the family? Who would die instead of him? It is a case of fair exchange, isn't it?"

The wife looked at the old mother and the old mother looked at the wife. The old father looked at Rama Swami's son.
But no one came forward...

Then Maharaj Ji said to the old father, "Babuji, wouldn't you give your life for your son?" The old man said, "Well, I have my responsibility towards my wife. If I die who will look after her? I cannot offer my life."

Maharaj Ji asked the son, "Well little boy, would you like to give your life for your father?" The child's mother said "Maharaj Ji,are you insane?..My son is only nine. He has not yet lived his life." All others had their genuine reasons to present.

Maharaj Ji said, "Well it seems, that all of you are very much needed for the things you need to do in this world... It seems Rama Swami was the only one that could be spared... That is why God chose to take him away.

So shall we now proceed with his last rites?... It's getting late. Having said that, Maharaj Ji got up and left.

In the words of a learned man ... "We tend a plant only when the leaves are green; the rest are only memories of happy times..! Further, God has a great design for every individual human being, and they have their role to play in this game on earth."
